Closing Change Requests

Postby forestef on Thu Oct 17, 2013 2:10 pm

I am trying to close a change request, in the same manner as closing a work order, but cannot find a way to do so. Does anyone have any hints they can give me?

Thanks

We have Alloy configured so that only certain job profiles can close Change Requests. This is because there are follow up actions to complete which are best assessed independently from the person who actualy did the change - by the Change Manager/Technical Authority.
e.g.
Was the change successful?
Did it have the desired benefts/outcomes.
Did it have a longer outage than stated in the implementation plan?
Did it fail?
etc.

In v6 you must first complete a change request before you can close it. Is it marked completed?

You can change that of course, but that's by default.
