Alloy discovery methods?

Postby david.fortin on Wed Dec 08, 2010 4:59 pm

I've finally stood up AN6.

When I run Alloy discovery, I see that it uses SNMP to audit the PCs. Is it possible to use the old AN5 method of an INA32.exe file in a central repository?

If not, what ports to my client subnets need to be opened from the application server for audits to work?

thanks.

It sometimes finds PCs with SNMP but that seems mainly for devices other than PCs. And yes, you can use the analyzer like in 5. Check into the network folder setup. It's the same thing with a new name. Right-click properties for your site to add.
