Linking Incidents and activity in one crystal report

Postby rcs-tech on Wed Nov 10, 2010 11:08 am

I am having an issue linking two tables using designer in Alloy Navigator 5. Is there a way to link a specific incident to its associated activity in one report? I am using database expert to add the activity and Incident_List tables. My issue is creating the mapping links so it prints only the activities related to that current ticket. Alloy Database expert default links both tables by ID which creates a blank report and if I clear links it prints all stored activities in the database. I just need to associate the incident to its current activities using the table elements. Thanks for your help.

Try inserting the Acivitiy_List as a Sub Report and change the Subreport Links ?Pm-Incident_List.ID linked to Activity_List.Request_ID

Cheers.
