ina32.ini location

Postby r-rasm on Tue Feb 24, 2009 3:50 pm

We are a Windows XP shop and audit our computers from a login script. Recently I've noticed that on a few, seemingly random machines, the ina32.ini file will be created in C:\ina32 instead of the usual location C:\Windows. Any ideas as to why this might be happening?

There's a command line option to redirect the .ini file (do ina32 /? to see) but don't think that helps you.

Code: Select all
/ini=[path] - specifies location of the ina32.ini file. If the specified location is not on the local computer, the option will be ignored and the default location will be used.
