Add 'History'

Postby completeit on Mon Nov 12, 2007 2:45 pm

The history on an incident is great. How about having other object types with the same 'tracking' ability. As with my other post, there are so many possible examples where this might be handy as every company runs differently. One example I can give would be something like this on a 'Computer' objects 'History' tab. You could track which end user had the computer last, when memory was upgraded, etc. I can give many other examples, but again, it is a generic feature which can be powerful depending on how you run your business...

Time / Author / Action / Attribute / Old Value / New Value

You're asking for what we call Change History. Asset Navigator 4 had a feature like this, but for several reasons, it was left out of Alloy Navigator 5.

As of now this is scheduled to be readded for the next release of A5 :)
