CentOS Auditing

I have been getting the following error when auditing my Linux boxes: error:67 The network name cannot be found.

The server is using root credentials
The servers (both discovery/linux box) can perform ping, nslookups/rev lookups to each other
The servers are on the same network plane (subnet) so this should be direct by not traversing a firewall
I have used the following to discover - name and ip address; and when using the name which i am assuming is driven by DNS it fails, when I use the IP it seems to go through some checks then fails at the end with the name cannot be found.

**Answer: edited the hosts.allow file, this resolved the above error however a cipher error was to follow
