Alloy 6 Database Tables

Postby janiep on Mon Jun 07, 2010 1:31 pm

We do our Help Desk reports in Crystal and when we went from Asset Navigator 4 to Alloy Navigator 5 we had to redo all our reports because the tables were different. Does anyone know if the tables have changed much from from Alloy 5 to Alloy 6?

there are some field changes but most are minor. for instance, incident now has service name instead of sla name and other ticket types have service name too. also they changed a couple date fields. completed, created and modified got changed to add _date on the end of them.

there's other new tables and such, but as far as changes I think that's mostly it

I think using crystal means you'll probably never have to lose your reports. v4 had some other reporting tool if I remember.

Thank you for the quick response. I will pass this along to the person who creates our Crystal reports because we are going to be upgrading just as soon as our Network person is freed up from the project he is on now. Thanks again.
