Audit Issue - WindowsXP

Postby reyquito on Tue Jul 18, 2006 9:13 am

Greetings.

I have an issue when auditing Windows XP workstations. Software inventory is set to run on logon script, and it works just fine in all windows but xp (whether it is SP1 or SP2). Have any of you had this problem?

If you walk up to a Windows XP machine and run the inventory on it, does it run?

Run the audit executable with the following switches: ina32.exe /force /debug

Force will bypass the schedule if one is set and debug will create a detailed log file in the log folder called machinename_debug.log.

If you continue to have issues I would send this log to support directly with any other information you have.
