Will automated audit overwrite entries that were manually in

Postby rich.bowell on Wed Feb 15, 2006 12:30 pm

I had my network assistant enter machine name, serial number, user, office, and department information into AN manually for a machine. Because that information was entered manually, I don't have the Audit Info on the machine (CPU Speed, RAM, etc...). I want to run a forced audit on the machine to gather that information.

What will happen to:
1) the information that is currently in AN for that machine (that was manually entered)?
2) information that is collected on that machine from the automated audit (ina32)?

Thank you in advance for your assistance,
Rich BoWell.

The recommended procedure is provided in the product manuals. Please refer to Help for the Asset Navigator article "Loading Audit Data to Manually Added Computer Records".
