Auditing Desktop from Citrix

Postby clahoz on Thu Mar 24, 2005 10:16 am

Is there a way to audit someone's desktop when they are logged in to Citrix? I have a batch file that would run the INA32.exe but it keeps auditing the citrix server.

Hello clahoz,

I cant imagine how this should work, since the citrix session cannot touch the local pc except for redirected drives, ports and clipboard.
Even with content redirections (MFP4) this should not be possible, since you can redirect only filetypes like .doc, .xls and so on to be opened by the installed application on local pc.

I audit the WAN pc in their network and import the files by a second importserver. the Citrix servers themselves are not audited, since that would produce incorrect data when done in a remote session.

Hope this helps
