ina32 hangs

Postby ebearman on Fri Dec 10, 2004 6:43 pm

I have one computer (running Windows 2003 server) on which ina32.exe hangs when you login. The process is listed in task manager, but does not appear to be doing anything, and an inventory is never created. When you logout, you have to manually end the process.

I am running the inventory analyzer by way of a GPO with login script (netinv.cmd) that has but one line:

\\uscarddfsnetinvina32.exe

This is a dfs link to the share that contains the netinv files.

This is the only computer that is doing this...thanks.

I tried running the scan within the web form, but that hangs also. Next?

Please zip the Log folder of your Inventory Analyzer deployment and send a copy to support@alloy-software.com with a reference to forum ID 3084.
