Export Data in Text File

Postby Hofer Martin on Mon Oct 18, 2004 9:23 am

With the Menu-Function "File/Export/All Rows" and selecting the Filetype "Text Document" I can create ONE ASCII-File with all the information I need.

Now I have to questions to this subject:

1. Can I change the separator e.g. ";" ?
2. Is there a way to make this export "silent", e.g. with command line ?

There's no way to silently text export or change separator. However, you can use the adt2xml.exe utility to do a silent export to XML.

Thanks for the rapid answer.

I know the possibiltiy to export to XML, but then I get for each entry an extra file. Can I make one XML-File with all entries?
