Please refer to the On-Demand Audit section of Getting Started guide. The procedures for prepping older machines for On-Demand Audit are described there.

So what your telling me is that I have to go to over 135 computers and
Install WMI configure give admins all permissions
Setup Windows Management Service
Edit the registry to enable anonymous connections

If so what is the point of the Audit it would be quicker to go to each machine and write down the specs
If someone hooks up a pc to the network you don’t now about it you have to find the pc install and setup WMI WMS and edit its registry before it shows up in an audit?

If you are in a domain, you may be able to change these settings globally via domain policies. Otherwise, in an environment with many legacy machines it may be easier to use the scheduled audit method rather than On-Demand Audit.
