Deleting Records

Is there any way to delete an audit record from within Network Inventory Navigator? The only way I could find to delete a record is to go into the AuditData folder and delete the *.adt file. This however can be difficult when trying to delete a specific record.

Yes, there is a way.
Unfortunately, the Delete item has not been inluded in the main menu by default.
You can add it by customizing the main menu manually:

  • right-click in an empty area on the main menu bar and select Customize... from the context menu
  • Select the Commands tab
  • Select the File category
  • The last item in the list of available commands is Delete - drag the item to the main menu and insert it in the File section
