NIN - Report Deisgner

Postby markrcc on Mon Jun 10, 2002 2:30 pm

Hi.

I just installed NIN 2.6.0 and think it\'s a great piece of software. All seems
to work fine except for one thing.

Using the help module, I searched for a way to create custom reports and it told
me how to use the Report Designer (invoked either by an icon on the toolbar or by
going to \"File\" - \"Design Report\".

My problem lies in the fact that neither the icon or \"Design Report\" does not
exist.

One more quick question. After running the audit for a few days, I\'ve noticed
quite a few (about 20% of the total) blank audits. Any reason for this? Any way
to automatically delete \"null\" audits?

Any hints or suggestions?

TIA

Mark

P.S. In future releases/upgrades, would it be possible to allow for multiple
deletions of columns? Also, how about a field or two that would allow
input of comments or other info that, otherwise, isn\'t collected auto-
matically?

Go to the Print preview and there you\'ll be able to find the icon for design reports or you can go file design reports.

as for multiple deletions you shoud be able to hold Ctrl key and select multiple fieds and the go to edit - delete.

Just a minor comment - the multi-delete feature might not work correctly in version 2.6.0 - this was fixed in the new version (3.0.1) - the beta release of which is now available for download.

Regarding blank audits - please contact support@alloy-software.com for assistance.
