Auditing cloned computers

I've been attempting to audit a cloned computer (XP SP3)

When a load the audit file into Navigator Express 5.1.0 build 102 it overwrites the details of the original computer instead of creating a new record.

What unique ID is being used to associate the machine to the record. i would have though the MAC address would be used but apparently not.

Has anyone had any experience of this scenario?

In know in av5 there's a file stored on each machine called ina32.ini. This file holds a unique id. If this file is duplicated on multiple machines, the application will believe those machines are all the same and it may try to update the same records.

I have no idea if this works the same way in dv5, but thought I'd take a shot.

Bingo...

'ina32u.ini' hidden away in c:\windows

Delete the file and re-audit creates a new one and the audit file is imported correctly.

Thanks for your help.
