Scriptable audit not working from some machines

Postby nick1234 on Tue Oct 27, 2009 2:31 am

Hi there,

We are auditing our machines by scripting ina32.exe. The script is VBS and gets the AD site to determine which server to run the .exe on.

The script works fine if it is run manually.

Some machines however do not update the log or copy an .adt file when the script is run via logon. It looks like there may be some relationship between computer OU and this failure, but we can't find anything that might be the culprit.

Does anyone have any suggestions we may have overlooked?

Thanks,
Nick

Could be a permissions issue. We had a similar problem when running our login script and as it turned out not everyone could write their audit snapshots and update the log.
