Clearing Down Aged Conflict Files

Postby andrew.platt@fiege.co.uk on Tue May 18, 2004 12:04 pm

We are using AN 4.2.4 Enterprise against SQL Server.

We have deployed the audit tool and have been gathering audit data for some time now. When we first set it up though, we had a few hiccups getting the data load to work as we wanted without adding new assets with (in our terms) erroneous asset tags. We have it working properly now, only overwriting if it finds the db blank, but it means we have quite a large number of outstanding conflicts in the import facility.

I realise we can either "overwrite" or "add new", but is there any way to say "dump this conflict" or "don't do anything with it", since I don't want our data overwritten or to add lots of new erroneous entries.

Thanks for your help.

You can't individually delete conflicts through Asset Navigator, however you can remove all conflicts by deleting the auditloader.state file and the Quarantine folder from your deployment.

That's perfect, we just needed a way to start again really.
