Customize "Views" on all desktop clients?

When viewing ticket lists (using the desktop client), there are a number of "Views" that we really won't use. I've customized the views that were available, creating new ones, sharing them, and disabling the others that are not needed. Other users can now see the new Views I've created and shared, but they can also still see the ones I've disabled.

Obviously, marking a view as "disabled" only affected the client on my machine. Is there a way to configure the available views for ALL clients (aside from going to each install and doing it manually)?

Are you sure the ones they still see are the shared ones? They might be local.

In the list of views, do they have a blue dot next to them? If not they are local and stored on the machine the client is on. I think they are .xml files in the user directory somewhere.
