Scheduled imports with the wizard

Hello there

Is there some way to run the import wizard periodically by creating a scheduled task to call the import wizard with a particular import profile?
I was trying to run the import wizard from the command line but couldn't get it to accept any arguments.

Thank you for help
Filipe

nah, you'd have to do something like that via sql.

Elias,
That's what I was afraid of...
Some scheduling mechanism for this tool would really be a great improvement!

Thank you for your answer.

Hello,

Just curious if this is still the case for Alloy 6.5 (cannot schedule imports using the command line tool).

The documentation seems to think otherwise, but I'm getting login errors also. I wanted to know if this is supported before I spend time chasing an environment issue.

Thanks,
Martin

As far as I know it's the same. Via the command line you can schedule an audit to be done on a machine using something like task scheduler. If you want the app to go out and audit your network or to import audits that exists either in a share or mailbox, you have to schedule that at the application level.
