We use office 2003 but buy office 2007 licences and downgrade. how do i get round this issue when assigning office licences to the software without it saying that i have 2007 office licences for 2007 but none in use, but 200 office 2003 licences in use and 0 licences?

Regards
Andy

This has been a challenge for me too. One way or the other you'll need to have a manual process to track it. No application can tell that the 2003 installation is actually a 2007 license.

You'll have to track these licenses manually, not using that master license feature or if all 2003 licenses are 2007 downgrades, use master license. it won't matter then.
