Define User Profile Location in Admin Settings

Hi,

Would it be possible to have the default User Profile Location set under the Administrative Settings which would then get called into the Options/Advanced Tab? Our site has all user settings pointing to a partitioned drive which does not get touched during a ReSOE so settings for all Apps are retained (we recently had a ReSOE and we lost our profiles...). I know users can change the location themselves, but if we could set them as an Administrator function we can set a standard for our technicians in line with our particular desktop set up.

Cheers,
Mark

I'd submit a feature request to Alloy. This sounds like a good idea.

You can set this via registry too if you wanted to enforce

Code: Select all
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Alloy Software\Alloy Navigator\UserConfig\Common]
"LocalSettingsDir"
