Archiving Tickets

Postby sdmhoward on Thu Jun 12, 2008 10:47 am

We are using the latest version of Alloy Navigator (5.3) and numerous tickets are starting to become closed/resolved. Is there a way to archive these tickets and have them availavle if need be? What would be recommended in this situation?

There's no built in archival process in the current version.

What you can do however is use views with advanced filters to filter out the tickets you don't need to look at. This is good in all situations anyway as it increases performance.

The other method isn't as much archiving as it is purging. There's a script you can get from us at support which will allow you to purge based on criteria you set.
