We have recently upgraded our email exchange server to 2007Exchange and our email settings should now log on using SMTP authentication using SSL or TLS(not sure). when i set up these settings in alloy i am getting "test Not passed 530 5.5.2 send email first" under TLS and "...Target machine actively refused it " under SSL. In outlook our smtp port is 25 therefore i think it is TLS. Can anyone help with this please.

Most likely this is related more towards SMTP communication from that machine than Alloy Navigator 5.

XFOR: Telnet to Port 25 to Test SMTP Communication

Basically, you're going to want to test SMTP from that machine using Telnet. If you receive the same issues in Telnet then you know it's not related to Alloy Navigator 5. There are several things which can cause this error such as firewall, antivirus, etc.

Regardless of the outcome, let us know what happens.
