Error using Navigator 5 eval - can't seem to get starte

When I try to start up Navigator, I first get a login box, so I type in the login name and password that we used to set up the database with but then I get a message that says "This database is not activated would you like to do it now?" so I click Yes, then in the Activation wizard I select the Activate the Product radio button, agree to the license agreement, then enter login credentials again and specify the local server with the database name of Alloy, and then I receive the message "Your user name is not on the technical staff list. Please contact your system administrator." Is there a way I can put this user on the technical staff list by adding or editing a row in the appropriate table? If not, how should I proceed?

And you're sure you're using the same login you used to create the database?

When you create the database, the person you login as is made the first technician in the database. If you login as that person during activation you should then not receive that error message.

There is a chance that something went wrong during the database creation, but this is not typical as long as the same login was used.

I would contact support via regular support channels if this persists.
