ERROR: domain user accessing website

Error when trying to access the website from a new domain user account. Confused by the error since I just logged onto the domain with that name.

Error: The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted

I tried again in the morning and it worked. There must be some sort of sync that runs, with our domain.

AD domains need time to replicate information between all domain controllers. This can take up to 15 minutes if you have not set the interval. It is possible that your login request was handled by the same server you created the account on, however the AN client may have used a different doman controller. If the server had not received the replicated info then you AD is not in sync like you said.
