I have the HelpDesk accessable from both internal and external connections. I am able to access and submit tickets from both, but the auto response email will only go to one or the other, depending on how the SMTP relay is set up. Has anybody else run into this and if so, what was the solution? Thanks

To answer this completely we would have to know a little more about how your web and email servers are set up. The web server is when the email originates from. It goes to the SMTP server that you have specified in the settings file within the website. That SMTP server must allow relaying for the web server that is sending mail. It must also be able to route mail to your internal domain and the internet. The key is the routing.
