Our helpdesk technicians would like to use the technician web helpdesk interface to view and close tickets while they are at the user's place.
Since they are logging in to the system from the user's computer, they can't use NT authentication as it will be the user's NT account and not the technician's account.
It looks like you need to set 2 accounts (one NT authentication and the other one SQL authentication ) for every technician to be able to work this way, yet, we need a double license for every technician and we will have multiple updates and assignments of tickets.... I'm sure there is a better way of doing it.
Is there a way to use both basic sql authentication and NT user authentication on the same technician license ?
