Ticket has not been submited - SMTP Error: Socket Error # 11001
From: webdesk@starbuildings.net
To: webdesk@starbuildings.net
Please check SMTP server settings.

Ok We have exchange server and everything has been routed to allow this machine to forward through to SMTP And still getting that error. Setup special email acocunt to test this and even tried others. Still not working.

This indicates a configuration issue with your mail server or with the MS SMTP Server on the IIS machine. Some possible causes are that MS SMTP Server is not installed on the IIS machine, or is set to deny relay access.

The SMTP Server is on another machine does it have to be installed on the machine that the IIS is located as well. Why have more than one mail server if that is true?

Yes, MS SMTP server does have to be installed on the IIS machine and be able to relay mail sent locally, since our product uses CDO for mail.
