Post request-then- MS jetdatabase error

Ive been sucessful creating and logging into the database. However, when i post a new helpdesk request i get a error msg page that says..

HTTP 500.100 - internal server error - asp error

error type:
Microsoft JET database engine..
cannot update. Database or object is read only.
helpdesk/rpreview

i have made sure the file as write access too...
Is this something to do with the smtp side of things..

ahhh, the problem was permissions to the folder it was in...
