Controlling Tech Access in the Web page

When using Asset Navigator software, the tickets a tech can view can be controlled. We can set it so the tech can only view their own tickets and the tickets of the group. Can we apply the same settings on the web page? Can we set up the web page so that the only Technicians that can be filtered must either be the signed on user or members of the respective group?

Permissions apply to the web help desk just as to the main module.

It isn't possible to allow a technician to see only tickets assigned to users in the same role. A user can either:

view no tickets
view all tickets
view their own tickets
view tickets in their department

Matt,

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that you would only be able to select a tech from your department from the drop down list instead of from all of the techs. I did see that when you do apply a filter, only the appropriate tickets from your group are displayed.
