RegUsersEnt.exe stopped working

As of a month ago, RegUsersEnt.exe (tool provided by Alloy-soft to add new AD users) stopped working. The only thing that I can narrow it down to is a set of updates on the Domain Controller. Right now RegUsersEnt will run through the initial screens until you hit next to actually do the AD connection. At that point, the window will turn white and eventually close by itself (no error report, nothing in any logs). Has anybody seen this, and is there a work around. I now have several users without accounts on on the help desk system.

Hi jtrusse,

What version are you running? In our latest 4.x version, I believe, the only available method to import users from AD is the standalone importcontacts.exe.

The utility (RegUsersEnt.exe) was developed as a temporary solution. The permanent fix has been provided in version 4.5.3 and I recommend that you upgrade and use the Import Contacts Module (C:\Program Files\Alloy Software\Asset Navigator 4\bin\ImportContacts.exe).
