Question about Enterprise Edtion and SQL

Postby jasonchan on Mon Jun 28, 2004 2:37 pm

We are looking to get the Asset Navigator Enterprise Edition, and we were wondering if we were to get that, do we need to purchase a copy of MS SQL, or does it come with its own SQL engine, if so do we need to purchase additional MS SQL licenses for using it?

You can use MSDE, which has no cost of any kind.

Does that mean I still have to install SQL separately?

You will need to install one component - MS SQL Server 2000 or the latest MSDE.
